The Road to Freedom Review

The Road to Freedom is drama based on the life of Errol Flynn’s son Sean (as a TIME photojournalist) who gives up his Hollywood life for the adventure of photographing Khmer Rouge during the Viet Nam era. The actor, Joshua Fredric Smith is a dead ringer for the real Errol Flynn and will star in a WB film “Dam 999″ in the fall. The story is about two photojournalists that risk their lives by going into a War torn Cambodia in an effort to bring the world’s attention to this region.

This is a very entertaining story about two young photojournalist who find themselves in the middle of a war zone. The plot is full of adventure and the character development is great. As you watch this movie, you will be moved by the actors’ reactions to the war torn environment. There is a scene that almost brought me to tears, when a little girl is standing in front of a group of dead relatives. The Road to Freedom is a wonderful character study that helps it audience experience the raw emotions of war.

I suggest seeing this movie if you are looking for a film that offers raw emotion and a great story with good acting.
